"Everybody's Changing" by KEANE

You say you wander your own land
But when I think about it
I don't see how you can
You're aching, you're breaking
And I can see the pain in your eyes
Says everybody's changing
And I don't know why

So little time
Try to understand that I'm
Trying to make a move just to stay in the game
I try to stay awake and remember my name
But everybody's changing
And I don't feel the same

You're gone from here
And soon you will disappear
Fading into beautiful light
Cause everybody's changing
And I don't feel right

So little time
Try to understand that I'm
Trying to make a move just to stay in the game
I try to stay awake and remember my name
But everybody's changing
And I don't feel the same

"Long, Long, Long" by GEORGE HARRISON

It's been a long long long time,
How could I ever have lost you
When I loved you.

It took a long long long time
Now I'm so happy I found you
How I love you

So many tears I was searching,
So many tears I was wasting, oh. Oh--

Now I can see you, be you
How can I ever misplace you
How I want you
Oh I love you
You know that I need you.
Ooh I love you

"Shine" by MR BIG

I never really feel quite right and I don't know why, all I know is something's wrong
Every time I look at you, you seem so alive
Tell me how you do it, walk me through it, I'll follow in every footstep

Maybe on your own you take a cautious step
Till you want to give it up, but all I want is for you to
Shine, shine down on me
Shine on this life that's burnin' out

I say a lot of things sometimes that don't come out right
And I act like I don't know why
I guess a reaction's all I was lookin' for
When you look through me, you really knew me, like no one else ever looked before

Maybe on your own you take a cautious step
Till you want to give up, but all I want is for you to
Shine, shine down on me ( just show me something )
Shine on this life that's burnin' out ( you give me something that I've never known )
Shine ( if you could show me the way ) shine down on me
( I want to know what's going on in your life )
Shine on this life that's burnin' out ( don't you know I want you to )
Shine, shine down on me, Shine on this life that's burnin' out

"If we hold on together" by DIANA ROSS

If we hold on together
I know our dreams will never die
Dreams see us through to forever
Where clouds roll by
For you and I

When we are out there in the dark
We'll dream about the sun
In the dark we'll feel the light
Warm our hearts, everyone

If we hold on together
I know our dreams will never die
Dreams see us through to forever
As high as souls can fly
The clouds roll by
For you and I

"I’m Yours" by JASON MRAZ

Well you've done done me and you bet I felt it
I tried to be chill but you're so hot that I melted
I fell right through the cracks
and now I'm trying to get back
Before the cool done run out
I'll be giving it my bestest
Nothing's going to stop me but divine intervention
I reckon it's again my turn to win some or learn some

I won't hesitate no more, no more
It cannot wait, I'm yours

Well open up your mind and see like me
Open up your plans and damn you're free
Look into your heart and you'll find love love love love
Listen to the music of the moment people dance and sing, we're just one big family
It's our God-forsaken right to be loved loved loved loved loved

So I won't hesitate no more, no more
It cannot wait I'm sure

There's no need to complicate
Our time is short
This is our fate, I'm yours

Do you want to, come on, scootch over closer dear
And I will nibble your ear

I've been spending way too long checking my tongue in the mirror
And bending over backwards just to try to see it clearer
But my breath fogged up the glass
And so I drew a new face and I laughed
I guess what I'll be saying is there ain't no better reason
To rid yourself of vanities and just go with the seasons
It's what we aim to do
Our name is our virtue

But I won't hesitate no more, no more
It cannot wait, I'm yours

Well open up your mind and see like me
Open up your plans and damn you're free
Look into your heart and you'll find that the sky is yours
so please don't, please don't, please don't.
There's no need to complicate
'cause our time is short
This oh, this oh, this is our fate, I'm yours

"One Kiss" by SWEETBOX

Maybe I'm tired of being the strong one
Maybe my romantic sides taking over me; I don't know
In a single moment
Your took over me and left me trembling and weak
And I just can't stay away

Just one kiss
One touch
Is not enough
Don't you feel the same
Your smile, your look straight in my heart
Don't you want the same
Maybe I'm wrong but I can't get over this
One kiss
One touch
Is not enough
Oh can't you feel the same...the same...the same

I never believed in finding the perfect love
I never believed that I would find something that I can't give up
But it makes me shiver
Your took over me and left me trembling and weak
And I'm holding on too strong

"Wake Me Up When September Ends" by GREEN DAY

summer has come and passed
the innocent can never last
wake me up when September ends

like my father's come to pass
seven years has gone so fast
wake me up when September ends

here comes the rain again
falling from the stars
drenched in my pain again
becoming who we are

as my memory rests
but never forgets what I lost
wake me up when September ends

summer has come and passed
the innocent can never last
wake me up when September ends

like my father's come to pass
twenty years has gone so fast
wake me up when September ends
wake me up when September ends
wake me up when September ends

"You Raise Me Up" by WESTLIFE

When I am down and, oh my soul, so weary;
When troubles come and my heart burdened be;
Then, I am still and wait here in the silence,
Until you come and sit awhile with me.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up... To more than I can be.

You raise me up... To more than I can be.

D.film Moviemaker

Making your own movie has never been easier. Just go to dfilm.com (click on the link below).

First, you need to select a background and a sky.
E.g. Matterhorn in Switzerland / conditions dry and windy.
Use the arrow to go down!

If you forget to do something, you will get a message like this: Woa, Nellie! This means you must go back and finish the job.

As well as a background and a sky, you need to select a plot:
· rendez-vous, ideal for drama, romance, comedy
· pick-up, ideal for drama, romantic comedy
· chase, ideal for action, sci-fi, horror, romance

· soliloquy, ideal for drama, documentary
Then you select the characters (see their names, occupations and ages).

Type in the dialogue (at least two lines of dialogue, and up to six, with a limit 100 text characters per line).

Now you can add a new scene or finish the movie. But make sure you don’t click on add if you want to finish, or you will lose all your work!

When your movie is ready, make sure you send me a copy by e-mail (recipient's e-mail).
I'm looking forward to some great movies!

Melissa

This is Melissa. She is 24 years old. There are four people in her family. She comes from Taiwan and was born in Kaohsiung in Taiwan.
In her country, she was a printing designer. This is an interesting job where you decide about layout, place orders with the printing company and more.
She has been in Christchurch for a week and a few days. She feels a little nervous. She wants to learn about the differences between Taiwan and Christchurch.

She doesn't have any plans for after CCEL because she isn’t studying English for a job or an exam. It's her hobby!

Tomomi

Tomomi was born and grew up in Nagoya, Japan. She is 20 years old and she comes from a large family. There are seven of them, four women and three men. She was living with her grandparents, her parents, her older brother and her older sister.

She has been in Christchurch for 12 days. She was studying at Nagoya university before she came here. She decided to come to New Zealand because the cost of living in New Zealand is cheaper than in Japan. Another reason why she chose New Zealand is that she wants to improve her English.
Her ambition is to become an English teacher or to work for a travel company. She'll go back to Japan to continue her studies at university after she finishes her English course at CCEL.
Tomomi is living with a Malaysian family. They are very kind and they also cook well. At the weekend, she goes shopping or goes out with her host family.

Overall, she feels this is a good environment for studying English.
